You can't argue with this kind of logic. :: [22:06:53]

Bloodrayne 2 :: [18:54:19]
I bought this game yesterday more than anything because I wanted a break from Dragon Quest, maybe something a little more action packed. I got what I wanted. This game is a game which has been designed with gamers and fun in mind. The graphics are not the finest but they are certainly good enough and easily on par with other games of this genre. I haven't actually played the first game in this series and I heard it sucked, but if that was the case then clearly they learnt their lesson because this is a most entertaining game. The emphasis is on major violence everywhere and in everything. Even the 'puzzles' in this game boil down to killing things in a certain way. For once though I have to say that the puzzles arn't annoying. I hate puzzles in my games but seeing as all the puzzles in this revolved around throwing things to their doom (and shockingly as part of the plot) and not the usual 'do this because we said so and we own you' crap you get in other games. There is nothing fancy or special in this game, just pure and utter violence in a stylish and entertaining manner. If you like killing things and don't want to strain your brain then this is the game for you. The system was clearly made for nothing but carnage and fun, in fact you get more life and power ups depending upon how much carnage you cause! Basically the more inventively and the more frequently you kill your opponents (With the large array of abilities Rayne has or with the environment) you gain more carnage points. Speaking of the environment it's very very interactive and I have never seen a game make such good use of an environment as a story piece ever. You can do a hell of a lot with it. To top all that off the game comes with a decent and strangely compelling story which is nicely played out in frequent cut scenes. The only downside to this game is that it is short. I have played it for about 4-6 hours today and so many hours last night and it's already finished. Not ideal but good enough to enjoy and in keeping with that spirit of gamer enjoyment when you complete the game any subsequent play throughs you do will be with a massive array of goodies including all your abilities (which you earn as you kill bosses and subbosses) As well as all your gun upgrades (these vampiric guns are the shit) and your increased life bars, etc. Fun for all the family. When you top this off with the very comical and well thought out script that the main characters have in their dialog you end up with a game that Blade wishes he was in.
