Seriously, Sony can kiss my arse. :: [09:57:33]I meant it. If they think I would ever fork out the kinda money they are expecting for a PS3 then they are well and truly out there. Apparently Japan agrees with me as the link below shows. As the link will also show you they are releasing a Dragon Quest game on the Wii. In which case Sony can really go find a rock to crawl under because Dragon Quest is superior to Final Fantasy in every way. When you add Smash Bro's to the party then you have a console I care about. Ok, the controller may be one of the stupidest inventions this side of diabetic chocolate but the price tag they slapped on the PS is the overwhelming factor in the equation. The reason the PS was always the most popular console in the past was because it was the cheapest console (Gamecubes began to be cheaper when they realised their mistake but the games for them stayed expensive) and had so many third party games it was insane. They have deviated from this formula, gotten too big for their boots and think they will get away with it. Far as I can tell so far the PS3 has no games which are going to make anyone go "Ooo I want that". Everyone who has voiced preference for the PS3 did so before hearing about the insane price tag. No doubt they have changed their minds by now. To be honest though I don't know why I am even posting about this because I will not buy a next gen console for a very long time anyway. Although I must admit it would be sad for me to get a Wii because then I would miss out on Tekken 6, although if the screenshots, etc shown at E3 are anything to go by, this might be a good thing!
